FireChess

FireChess blends classic chess strategy with economic and magical elements for a fresh gaming experience. Players start each turn with a base amount of gold, which increases when occupying gold-rich tiles. This currency allows you to buy unique pieces from the shop and deploy them on the board. The game features special mage characters, each with unique abilities. The Fire Mage ignites flames that clear paths, while the Frost Mage immobilizes units in icy traps. The Fog Mage obscures enemy vision with a 3x3 fog zone, and the Kinetic spell forces movement across the board. The Waymaker opens teleportation tunnels for long-range piece relocation, letting even pawns reach promotion squares after traversing portals. Scouts offer tactical flexibility by clearing obstacles without being captured. The game is still evolving, developed by a small team that values community input.
