Feed A Titanosaur
Feed A Titanosaur offers a captivating and accessible entry point into VR, especially for newcomers. Designed for ease of use, the experience combines a friendly, highly detailed 3D model of the Argentinosaurus—a massive titanosaur—with realistic animations that respond to player movements. Guided by an informative voice-over, users engage directly with one of Earth’s largest prehistoric creatures, learning fascinating facts in an immersive setting. Built for room-scale interaction on the HTC Vive, players can explore the environment, inspect the dinosaur up close, and even use teleportation to navigate the prehistoric landscape. Originally launched by Sir David Attenborough at the York Museum as part of the Yorkshire Jurassic World exhibition, this project now brings a polished, educational VR experience to arcades and classrooms worldwide. Its five-minute runtime delivers both entertainment and knowledge, making it perfect for first-time VR users and curious learners alike. This project proves VR can be both educational and thrilling.
