Description
Elliot and the Musical Journey is a vibrant 3D platformer that blends music, puzzles, and adventure. Players control Elliot, a tiny gnome living in a cheerful, music-rich realm under Queen Adeline's rule. When the Evil Skeleton King steals the world's music, Elliot must restore harmony by playing melodies on a flute, gathering scattered notes, and rescuing friends trapped by villains. The game features music-themed levels, classic platforming challenges, and dynamic flute-based puzzles. Collecting instruments and outsmarting bosses are key to progressing through the story. Its original banda sonora and auto-save system enhance the experience, while the project's development highlights collaboration between students from Ahlman Institute's game tech and visual design programs. Key team members include Pauli Kiuru (project lead, programmer, music), Kati Paavilainen (art lead, music), and others contributing to programming, art, and design. This 4-month student project showcases creativity and teamwork. The game stands out.
