Elfscape: Ancestors

Puts you in control of a Temple Guardian, armed with just two health points and a powerful double jump. Your mission is to navigate treacherous, ever-changing obstacles in the Underworld, facing death repeatedly as you push forward. The game’s story follows the awakening of the Guardian after centuries of rest, as he prepares to fulfill a prophecy alongside the mysterious "Chosen One"—who remains elusive and silent. Along the way, you’ll meet the enigmatic Lahmu, the Underworld’s God, whose headless statues hide comic pages that reveal the tale of two hunters, Jachan and Agol, exploring beyond the Temple’s safety. Beyond combat, your choices shape the world: invest in the city’s growth to gain the trust of its people, or spend coins on cosmetic upgrades for your Guardian. The game also features a dynamic relationship with the townsfolk, whose reactions shift based on your progress and priorities. Backed by public funding from the Slovak Arts Council, *Elfscape: Ancestors*.
