Echoes of the Flame

Echoes of the Flame is a story-driven 2.5D turn-based RPG that alternates between two distinct groups of characters. Set in a world governed by the cycle of souls, the game follows Flame Wardens tasked with protecting it. Haku, a Flame Warden from a western town, travels toward the sacred Coral peak with his demi-human companion Kaji and enigmatic ally Mikoto. Meanwhile, Ren, another Flame Warden, journeys from the east with childhood friend Maruka and mysterious elder Rakan. Players experience both perspectives as their stories intertwine. Hidden lore is uncovered through "Key Words" scattered across the world, which must be presented to the right characters to reveal deeper truths. Combat is strategic, relying on customizable builds and a unique "Shield" system that influences battle flow. Players must decide whether to weaken enemies’ shields first or target their HP directly.
