Dream World Film Studio is a first-person interactive narrative game created by WU Enfu, ZHAO Hengjie, and PAN Shijie as their graduation project from the China Academy of Art's School of Design & Innovation in 2023, under the guidance of CAI Wenchao and LUO Cheng. Set in a future where brainwave analysis and generative AI have revolutionized entertainment, the game imagines a world where dreams become the raw material for cinema. As traditional filmmaking gives way to fully automated production, players experience a surreal journey through three distinct dream narratives—each with unique jugabilidad and visual styles—exploring the absurdities of a hyper-personalized movie industry. Immersive and thought-provoking, the game challenges players to reflect on the nature of authorship, the ethics of automated creativity, and what it means to be a creator in an age where dreams can be harvested and sold as content.
