Description

In *DRAINUS*, you pilot a unique side-scrolling ship capable of absorbing enemy energy bullets. This absorbed power fuels your vessel, allowing you to unlock new weapons and upgrade its functions. The story follows Irina, a slave on the oppressed planet Halpax under the Kharlal Empire. Her father suffers from a rare "Planetary Compatibility Disorder," and only treatment on distant Earth can save him. A mysterious frog-like humanoid named Ghenie appears from 50 years in the future, warning of a galactic war that will destroy over 5,000 planets. With her father's condition worsening, Irina joins Ghenie to stop the Empire and find a way home. The game's core feature is the "Reflector," which temporarily absorbs enemy shots and stores energy in tanks. This stored energy enables powerful counterattacks and ship enhancements, turning the tide against the Kharlal armada.
