Description

Digital Logic Sim (v1) is a minimalist digital logic simulator designed to help users explore the fundamentals of computer architecture. Starting with basic AND and NOT chips, players can build custom logic circuits by chaining components together, creating increasingly complex systems. The simulator supports editing, renaming, and deleting chips, as well as saving copies for quick experimentation. Users can also modify wire and pin colors, and manage a dedicated chip library for organized projects. New built-in chips include Clock, Tri-State Buffer, and Seven-Segment Display Pins, with the latter now supporting multi-input signals. However, conflicting inputs may result in random pin states, which can be resolved using the Tri-State Buffer. While the project is still a work in progress and lacks some features shown in the accompanying video series—such as decimal value displays and animated signal transitions—future updates aim to address these gaps. Available since January 29, 2023, Digital Logic Sim is a valuable tool for learning and visualizing digital logic concepts.
