Deep Frost
Deep Frost drops players into Halström Outpost 7, a crumbling Antarctic station overrun by a parasitic intelligence known as the Thaw. Twelve researchers, nine days, and a growing paranoia define this social-deduction roguelike. Every run reshuffles characters, relationships, and secrets, forcing players to navigate a web of lies through chat, interrogation, and strategic deception. The Thaw’s influence spreads via blood tests and body swaps, rewriting alliances and identities daily. Key mechanics include a dynamic queen system, hidden suspicion networks, and modifiers like Frost Loop or Blood Moon that twist jugabilidad. Players must balance cooperation and betrayal, using traits and rapport to uncover impostors while managing station missions like reactor repairs and airlock breaches. Each run’s outcomes—successes, failures, or cryptic clues—shape future playthroughs, with a codex unlocking lore fragments across sessions. With procedurally generated interactions and no two experiences alike, Deep Frost challenges players to question everyone, including themselves.
