Damage: Sadistic Butchering of Humanity
Is a chaotic 2D adventure shooter inspired by a cult Amiga classic from 1996. Players step into the shoes of Michael Modelcitizen, a once-ordinary man whose descent into chaos begins after a failed quest for perfection. Armed with a baseball bat, later upgraded to an arsenal of weapons and drugs, Michael roams a sprawling urban landscape, eliminating anyone who stands in his way—civilians, cops, criminals, and even vehicles. The game blends dark humor with unrestrained violence, offering total freedom to explore, loot, and wreak havoc. Its story follows Michael’s transformation from a model citizen to a notorious killer, driven by frustration and a twisted pursuit of power. With roots in the Amiga era (1993–1997), the project evolved through years of ambitious development, culminating in a cult favorite praised for its bold creativity. Damage delivers a wild, irreverent experience where chaos reigns, and every choice fuels its satirical take on violence.
