Crowd Control
Is a fast-paced multijugador game focused on strategy and teamwork. Players take control of up to four different zones, working together to convert as many crowd members as possible to their team’s color. The goal is to move the wave by using the four directional keys, influencing the crowd’s actions in a stadium-like setting. The game was developed during the Kiwi Jam 2019 in New Zealand and quickly gained recognition, earning 2nd place at the Christchurch Kiwi Jam Awards. It was later released on Steam as a free-to-play title due to its short jugabilidad loop, typical of game jam creations. Unique mechanics include the ability to spot “party people” marked by green arrows, who can disrupt your progress by jumping in random directions. Players must navigate back to previously colored areas to continue the wave. The AI-to-player ratio can be adjusted by pausing and left-clicking a player. Controls are simple: start or pause with Space, Escape, or Enter; restart with F1; and F2.
