CHV: VR Trunk Escape

CHV: VR Trunk Escape adapts the real-world Trunk Escape CTF challenge from DefCon into an immersive virtual experience. Players step into the role of a participant, choosing gear and boarding a van, then face a mix of physical puzzles and CAN bus hacking challenges to escape before time runs out. The 2020 virtual edition was born out of pandemic safety measures, transforming the physical event into a safe, online competition. Participants can connect to live CTF servers during DefCon to compete globally, while random solutions outside the event keep jugabilidad fresh year-round. Developed as a solo project, the game is still evolving, with ongoing testing and bug fixes. Minor issues, like incorrect watch points, remain under review. Community feedback is vital—players are encouraged to share their experiences and suggestions via forums or Discord. This is the first VR title from the Car Hacking Village, marking a milestone for both the team and VR gaming. Join the challenge and see if you can outsmart the system.
