Bipolar Game
Bipolar offers a fresh take on puzzle-platformer jugabilidad, centered around using magnetic polarities to guide your character toward a green portal. Unlike traditional games, it skips standard jumping mechanics, relying instead on magnetic forces to control movement and direction. The game boasts 50 diverse levels, each with unique themes and challenges—from Earth-like gravity to abstract, zero-gravity environments. Players will encounter helpful tools like cameras, polarity platforms, and pinball bumpers, alongside hazards such as mines and trip-wires. Designed by four students from Monash University, Bipolar won the 2010 Monash Award for outstanding student work and was showcased at the Independent Games Festival in both commercial and student categories. Later development was led by Jason Free. Beyond playing, Bipolar includes a robust level editor created by lead programmer Tom Parry, empowering players to design and share their own levels online. Its innovative mechanics and creative freedom make it a standout title for fans of inventive jugabilidad. Bipolar invites players to explore, experiment, and.
