The CEO’s first message captures the heart of the game—a passion for history, especially the First World War, and a deep appreciation for storytelling and art. Inspired by an indie 2D game with a powerful narrative, the team set out to craft their own unique experience. With a small group of friends, including an artist and enthusiastic contributors, the project took shape through shared ideas and dedication. The name “ASH OF WAR” was chosen for its bold, memorable sound—not for ashes, but for strength. Despite early challenges, including limited resources and technical hurdles, the team pushed forward. Their commitment to bringing the vision to life led to the creation of 2D sprites and characters, marking the start of a journey filled with creativity and perseverance. This is more than a game—it’s a labor of love. We hope you enjoy every moment of it.
