Set in a harsh desert world where floating land fragments define society, *A Foretold Affair* puts players in the shoes of Buffalo Seer, an unconventional Abnormal gifted with precognition. Despite warnings about the dangers of seeing the future, Seer's curiosity leads to a shocking discovery: they've already left their own kind and married a stranger. Driven by visions of happiness, Seer ventures into Normal territory to find this mysterious partner and prove their destined connection. The game offers a rich narrative built around 150,000 words, delivering 9–15 hours of immersive playtime. Players can choose from three future spouse options—male, female, or agender—select pronouns, and even name Seer with a Normal name. With partial voice acting, light animations, and over 25 detailed CG images, the experience is visually and emotionally engaging. The banda sonora, centered around piano melodies, enhances the atmosphere. Voice cast includes Lily Chen as Kea, Hannah Hellwig as Piper, Andrew Oakes as January, Stephanie Tobin as Trinette.
